Wednesday, September 2
GJC monthly jazz jam, every first Wednesday of the month at Smiley's Acoustic Café, starts at 8PM. All musicians welcome to play. 

Friday, September 11
The GJC Heptadectet performs a family friendly concert at the Swamp Rabbit Café and Grocery from 6:00 - 8:00PM. Food trucks, beer, wine, bikes, and big band jazz!  Free to come dance, listen, and hang out on a Friday by the trail!

Friday, September 11
The GJC Contemporary Ensemble is honored to play with jazz drumming legend Bob Moses in the Daniel Recital Hall at Furman University.  Bob's career spans 5 decades and his credits read like an encyclopedia of jazz.  Show starts at 8PM.

Tuesday, September 15
Multi-instrumentalist and world renowned percussionist Jason Marsalis will give a masterclass to the students at the Fine Arts Center, followed by a small group concert that evening in the Black Box Theater featuring members of the GJC.  Concert starts at 7:30PM, tickets are $15. Jammers will join in during the first set and play for the whole night.

The food is great, the atmosphere welcoming, and there is ample parking.
